- A couple months ago I found an Iphone in the parking lot of our condo community. I really don't know how to use one of these but tried to see if there were a phone number or some way to turn it on to find the owner.

- Most seem too young to have wanted to see, let alone sit on Santa's lap. Some of those Santa's are sort of scary and creepy looking. No wonder these kids were scared to death!

- Clinton was not in office when Congress passed the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) health benefit provisions in 1986. COBRA can actually be a lifesaver for those that lose their job. Yes, it can be expensive, you are paying the entire monthly health plan premium.

- @JerryC823: You were smart to not live beyond your means and possibly lucky too if you never lost your job. Obviously when you are working, It is easier to stay on track and pay your bills and put money away for retirement (well, it used to be).

- She can come and stay with us on her vacation. We would charge a reasonable rate to let her stay in our guest room. It's beautiful here in the Hilton Head Island area of South Carolina. We won't bully her and heck, she may like us so much she'll adopt us!

- Pretty sad statement, "Be glad you have a job that you can hate". I understand what you are saying, absolutelyright, but it just is very sad. Too many employers out there are SO taking advantage of their employees right now. When/if times ever get better, they will hopefully pay the piper.

- Aside from some of the stupid, tasteless, needless remarks some posted above, I am sorry to hear of his passing. Brought back memories of when I was a kid and could hardly wait for the Sunday paper to read his cartoon. Thank you for the good memories.

- I could care less who they get. I usually don't watch much of the show anyway. I usually just peek in and see what's happening depending on whether or not I saw any of the movies nominated. I might have watched the whole thing if Eddie Murphy stayed as host. Oh well!
